The Windermere Airshow 2008
Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th July 2008
Offering a weekend for all the family at the Glebe, Bowness-on-Windermere where there will be flying displays on both days including a flypast by the RAF, the RAF Falcons parachute display team, performances of the Eral of Loudoun's regiment of Foote who will re-enact Civil War Battles, dispays by the Silverband Falcons Birds of Prey, Search and Rescue Dogs, Brass Bands, Model Aircraft, Taylors Fairs, a Jet Simulator, side shows and numerous stalls.
Please note: Air displays can be viewed from the Burnside Hotel's Lake View Terraces.

Christmas & New Year Celebrations
Our four-night Christmas package commences at midday on Christmas Eve with mulled wine and mince pies, getting everyone into the Christmas spirit.
Our New Year celebrations start early on Tuesday 30th December 2008 with the opportunity to meet your fellow revellers in the bar for a champagne cocktail drinks reception, getting everyone into the party spirit for our three-night package.

Windermere Lions Festival
A Fun Family Festival from Saturday 2nd - Sunday 10th August 2008
Events will be held on The Glebe in Bowness and include the Taylor's Funfair as usual with workshops, live bands and the usual spectacular fireworks display.
